📅 Appointments

Before you start

Check the clinic and the patient’s identity. The screenshots use the fictional DEMO STARTER / 教學新同事. The times and measurements in these examples are training data.

1. Find a visit in List

  1. Open Appointments from the left menu.
  2. Choose List. Check the date at the top. Today returns the daily view to today.
  3. Enter a name in Search. Use Status and Doctor to narrow the result.
  4. Read the patient, doctor, date, time and status before opening the record.
  5. Columns changes the list’s visible columns. Clear old filters when starting another search.

Read the list groups

GroupWhat it helps you find
Not ArrivedBookings that have not been signed in.
WaitingSigned-in patients waiting to be seen. Check the queue number and waiting time.
In ProgressVisits being handled, including visits awaiting checkout.
DoneCompleted workflow items such as paid or cancelled visits. Read the individual status too.

In Waiting, the sort can use Appointment Time or Waiting Time. A waiting-time number is not the booked appointment time.

2. Use Schedule or Mine

Schedule: compare doctors or equipment

  1. Select Schedule.
  2. Choose Doctor View to compare the selected day by doctor.
  3. Choose Equipment View to see equipment time slots.
  4. Business Hours Only limits the time grid to the clinic’s business hours. Change it if you need to inspect a time outside those hours.
  5. Select an existing appointment card to review it. Selecting an empty slot opens a new-booking flow; check the details carried into the form before saving.

Mine: your seven-day calendar

Select Mine to see your own appointments across the displayed seven-day range. Check the range at the top before booking. This view and the Mine permission scope are separate: a role scoped to Mine can restrict access to existing appointments to your own, while still allowing you to create a booking for another doctor.

❓ FAQ

What is the difference between List, Schedule and Mine?

List shows appointment rows. Schedule shows time slots. Mine shows your own appointments in a seven-day calendar. The permissions assigned to your account still control which existing records you may open or change.

Can a follow-up date replace an appointment?

No. A follow-up task is a reminder to act. A scheduled appointment has its own date, time and doctor. Check the linked appointment separately.

Why is the end time rejected?

End Time must be after Time. Check the date and both times before creating the booking.

Can I cancel a booking to correct a spelling mistake?

Open the appointment details and use the edit action when you only need to correct its details. Cancel Appointment changes the booking’s status and should be used for an actual cancellation.

Does Sign mean the consultation has finished?

No. Sign records arrival. Consultation and Checkout are later actions in the visit workflow.
